At Livus, we go beyond renting 1-room apartments for short- or long-term stays. We actively take on ecological, social, and ethical responsibilities to contribute positively to society and the environment.
Environmental
Resource Conservation
Since its founding in 2012, Livus has focused on revitalizing or repurposing existing buildings, such as converting office spaces into residential use, wherever possible. This approach avoids the simpler route of demolition and new construction. Instead, we undertake meticulous renovations, preserving valuable resources. This extends the lifecycle of buildings and significantly improves their ecological footprint—90% of our properties are revitalized existing buildings. By choosing renovation over demolition, we’ve saved several hundred tons of concrete waste and achieved energy savings in building operations with reduced environmental impact compared to new construction.
Solar Panels
Sustainability and responsible action are at the heart of Livus. Aligned with our ESG principles, we prioritize renewable energy to reduce our ecological footprint and actively protect the environment.
A major milestone: We have installed 174 solar modules that supply our buildings with clean and sustainable energy. This investment not only helps reduce CO₂ emissions but also fosters independence from fossil fuels.
Energy Efficiency of Our Portfolio
At Livus, energy efficiency is a key priority. A large portion of our properties achieve top energy ratings, such as A and B, which reflect particularly low energy consumption and sustainable resource use. Even buildings with mid-range ratings demonstrate that we are making steady progress.
Our goal is to continuously optimize energy consumption, actively contributing to environmental protection. With this commitment, we combine modern living with responsible practices.
Fleet Sustainability
As part of our sustainability efforts, we emphasize eco-friendly mobility. Currently, 70% of our fleet consists of electric vehicles, and we are committed to further increasing this percentage. For all new vehicle acquisitions, we exclusively procure electric cars. This step underscores our commitment to resource conservation and reducing CO₂ emissions.

Gender Equality
At Livus, empowering women is a core principle. Women make up 53% of our workforce—not due to quotas, but through conviction. Women are represented across all areas, from leadership to planning and operations. This approach contributes to increased female presence in an industry where this is not yet the norm.
